"Customization Issues with Sizing"
The jacket that showed up is nicely crafted and includes the patches we chose, but it just doesn’t fit right. I was worried and shared specific measurements through the chat feature and the customization text box before buying since my athlete is quite small. The ‘XS’ jacket came in without any of the size adjustments I asked for. Honestly, it’s more like a size M-L. To make matters worse, this pricey $300 ‘custom’ jacket can’t be returned. Communication could definitely be better.

"Absolutely love this jacket!!!"
This varsity jacket is really well made and looks just like we were hoping for when we placed the order. The customer service was top-notch. Just a day after I ordered, someone from the company got in touch to verify my mobile number so they could keep me updated on the order's progress. About a week back, they sent me three photos of the jacket to make sure I was satisfied with it. WOW!!! Now that’s what I call service. Once I gave the thumbs up, they shipped it via FedEx and provided the tracking info. It did take a couple of months from the time I ordered to when I got the jacket, but for the quality I received, it’s totally worth it!!! Plus, I ordered in December, probably along with a thousand other folks. Varsity Base is the real deal!!! Thanks a bunch 😎

"Exceeded Expectations with a Custom Jacket"
I got myself a personalized letterman jacket online, and let me tell ya, the whole thing was a breeze. The site was super user-friendly, the cost was fantastic, and they even threw in free shipping. I placed my order a few weeks ahead of Christmas and mentioned in the notes that I hoped to have it in time for my dad's gift. Shortly after, I got a message saying that because of the holiday rush, it probably wouldn’t be ready until after Christmas. But guess what? The jacket arrived right on my doorstep on Christmas Eve! I unwrapped it, and wow, it was stunning. The quality is top-notch for the price. Big shoutout to whoever worked on my order during the busy season—thank you so much! You really nailed it with the under promise and over deliver!

"Awesome buy"
This jacket is stunning and just what I wanted. My sole issue is with how it was packaged. It came all crumpled up in a plastic bag that was sealed with tape. I was a bit anxious about slicing the jacket while trying to get it out of the package.

"Terrible Packaging"
The shipping was a real letdown. There was no proper box, just a flimsy plastic bag. Customs ended up slicing it open with a knife. They slapped some tape on it to close it up and even stamped right on the bag. Sadly, that stamp ended up on my jacket. Now I've got a customs mark on my jacket.

"Top-notch customer support, hassle-free returns, and excellent product quality"
The customer support was fantastic. We got non-custom jackets, which meant we could send them back if I messed up on the size, but it still felt a bit nerve-wracking since it was a big purchase (we have twin girls who both made varsity as freshmen!). They provided clear instructions and reassured me that once they received the return shipment proof, they’d start working on the small sizes for us. The replacements showed up three weeks earlier than expected!
The quality of the jackets is spot on! I do have a suggestion for the website, though... It would be awesome to have a section where you can enter your school colors, and then all the matching options (colors and materials) would show up. Then, similar to Nike's customization, you could select the collar for color choices and the sleeves for different materials and their available colors—kind of like how Apple does with their watch bands. I’m bringing this up because if you’re not one to think creatively, you might miss out on other options. If all the neutral choices were displayed with the coat, like white, gray, and black, then your bright school color would be the only thing that really changes. Our school colors are orange and black, which limited what we could do with the sleeves since orange isn’t the best choice for leather. However, there were some colored leather options, which made it tricky for me to figure out what else would work. I saw someone at school the other day with gray wool sleeves, so yeah, I think having more options would really help those shopping online who can’t visit a store to see what others are picking.
We bought the coat on Thanksgiving and snagged a nice discount, so I’d recommend that to anyone looking for a Christmas gift. They ensured the coats arrived right on time! Big thanks to Varsity Base for making this such a great experience.
I can’t comment on how the patches or embroidery would turn out.

"Customer service came through after some hiccups."
Addendum: the company got in touch with me and resolved the problem. I think the issue was just a fluke, and I really appreciate their support. They went the extra mile to set things right.
The item was shipped straight from India. I found a big dead spider tangled up in it, which was super gross. There's this chemical odor to the jacket that just won't go away, and with the spider incident, I've been hesitant to use it (I keep worrying about more spiders hiding in the pockets). The fit is a bit off, really baggy around the shoulders, but since it’s a custom order, I reckon getting it swapped out would be a hassle. So now I’ve got a jacket I don’t wear because it kinda creeps me out and doesn’t fit right. These things happen, which is why shopping for clothes online can be tricky.

"MY EXPERIENCE WAS A NIGHTMARE"
I ordered a custom jacket on November 23, 2022, and here we are on January 20, 2023, and still no sign of it! I've sent several emails about a problem they told me about on January 19, 2023, but I haven't heard anything back regarding my shipping. This company has the absolute worst customer service I've ever dealt with.
At this point, I just want my money back so I can shop elsewhere; clearly, they don’t want my business. If you're looking for a letterman jacket, do yourself a favor and go to a different place. Terrible customer service, awful production, and just a bad experience all around from a really lousy business. This place is a total letdown!

"I KNEW I should have gone local"
I KNEW I should have gone local, but I was pressed for time. The site says orders go out in 5-7 business days. A month later, with no word, I decided to reach out. The very next day, I received a shipping confirmation. Alright then. But guess what? It came from India! The jacket arrived way too late, and now they expect me to cover the return shipping. I only chose this company because they brag about being a long-standing family business. Right - and you send stuff (that you forgot to ship initially) all the way from India.

"Absolutely the worst online shopping experience!"
This has been the most frustrating online shopping experience I've ever had. I received an email asking for this review, but I still haven't gotten the jacket I ordered seven weeks ago. Just yesterday, I got a random message from Steven saying there was a glitch in your system, but no details on what that glitch was or when I might see my order. I really regret choosing your company because this whole situation has been terrible, and I still have no clue where my jacket is. Just give me my money back so I can shop somewhere else; your customer service is awful, your production is terrible, and your company is just plain bad!
